Two recent news-reports about the space actresses get in Bollywood, were quite contradictory.
Giselle Monteiro, the Brazilian beauty, who after a successful debut in 2009 hit Love Aaj Kal, couldn't really chart a successful career for herself, as all her subsequent films flopped; quit her ambitions to be an actress to return to Brazil to pursue architecture. She feels Bollywood is a bit too tough. On the other hand Mugdha Godse, who has a relatively better career graph, feels this is the best time to be in Bollywood!
What is the ground reality?
Bol-News view
Frankly, there is an influx of actresses in Bollywood everyday. Indian actresses not only have competition from regional actresses, but also from a lot of foreign actresses, who eye Bollywood as they are paid well. In such a scenario how does an aspiring actress make it really big?
We at Bol-News feel that all the actresses whether in the past or present had and gave that extra push, to succeed. Aspiring actresses need to know this and they have to give that extra push, if they really want to succeed in Bollywood.
